| JAKE’s LIFE Jake was in a sense a typical little boy. He loved sports, race cars and pirates, but there was something very special about him unlike a five year old. He lived with joy and passion. Jake was born with muscular dystrophy, he was confined to a wheelchair. He faced painful surgeries and challenges as a little boy that many of us will never understand. Jake never complained nor did he ever see himself as different. He never felt sorry for himself. Anytime you saw him he had this huge smile on his face and he would tell you that one day “I’m going to walk.” He had such determination and will. It was infectious to others. He had a light and he let it shine! Jake’s courage and love for life and exuberant personality made him truly one of a kind. Everyday was an adventure for him – living life to the fullest, exploring every opportunity to play, meet new people and express himself relentlessly. He loved his life and loved everything and everyone he touched. Jake is running the streets of heaven now. I smile when I picture him doing so, even though my heart is ripped apart inside. I’d give away my soul to hold him one more time or to hear him say “Mommy, I love you.” I know one day i will be reunited with my precious little boy, until then…You will never be forgotten baby…You will always be my one true joy..The brightest star in my life…My everything. WE LOVE YOU BABY…WE HAD TO SPEND ANOTHER THANKSGIVING WITH OUT YOUR SMILE OR LAUGHTER BESIDE US. WE MISS YOU TERRIBLY BUT YOU ARE ALWAYS IN OUR HERTS . WE WOULDN’T EVEN CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS IF I HAD MY WAY BUT BECAUSE OF YOU…WE DO…YOU LOVED THEM SO MUCH…EVERY DAY WAS A HOLIDAY THAT YOU WERE WITH US…YOU HAVE OUR SOULS MY LOVE.

Jake loved to have his Mom pull him in his Red Wagon. He smilled all the time but there was always such a purely joyous grin when we was in that wagon.

You were such a special child I miss seeing your smiling face and the special kiss you always gave me. I know you are happy now run with the wind and I know I will see you again someday

Oh Jake, you are so missed! Your beautiful smile lit up the world and I’m sure you are the brightest star above. Please shine down on your mom and family. Watch over her and help guide her thru the years until you meet again. Love you lil man, Sandy

My little Prince
Each day we think of you. You’re always with us : you’re travelling each day to Paris in your french family mind & heart. Today, we lighted candles for you to see their light brightening in your eyes. We do miss you, your smile, your voice, tes petits caprices trop mignons…Nous t’aimons infiniment, du plus profond de notre coeur.
Petit chéri d’Amour, je t’aime et je t’adore. Tu me manques terriblement. Viens vite me revoir dans mes rêves. L’autre nuit, tu conduisais un de ces magnifiques trucks. Tu étais si fier, tu me regardais,et tu éclatais de rire, si heureux de me faire une si belle surprise. Lorsque je me suis réveillée le matin, j’étais pleine d’énergie!

Chicka De Chicka Di Chicka Doh,
I miss hearing you say ‘ What do you know”,
Our daily comments to each other. I so miss seeing your smiling face. You sure lite up a room when you entered. Thanks for watching out for Mr. George too. He’s happy you found us the cabin. Your one of God’s angels now. The best angel he’s got. I sure miss you Jake. I feel privileged to be the one chosen to take care of you. I wasn’t teaching you much, you were teaching me how to love and care for others unconditionally. To be happy and enjoy life. I’ve since learned where you got your love for people from, Your mom. She always told you I LOVE YOU ” NO MATTER WHAT” You showed us all, what it took to do this. If we would all just stand back and reflect on what you have showed us by your actions, This would be a much better world. What a wonderful gift you were to this world. I will always love and miss you.

My husband said he loved hearing your little voice calling from the school bus after you got on, “I love you Mommy”. He said it was the cutest voice he ever heard.

Jakee Baby, I miss you terribly.
Its 4:21 am, & I just woke up. and I can’t go back to sleep now.
I just had a dream about you, & I finally saw your smile. & heard your laugh again. I’d been missing it for the longest time.
We were at school again, & you were walking. (:
We were with mrs tharp & mrs ray, & we were building a castle out of legos. & it fell over, & you started laughing soo hard. it was really funny.
Gosh, Jake. I really do miss you.
It’s still so unreal thinking that your gone.
I know you’ll be my gaurdian angel,
You taught me that everyday is a gift, & to love and care for others more.
I love you baby boy, you are life changer. And I will never forget you.
