Worldwide Candle Lighting Service 2008
| The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting Remembrance Ceremony took place at the Grand Strand Senior Center on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008. The ceremony is held annually to unite families around the world who have lost children, no matter the age. The Grand Strand candles were part of a wave of light sweeping the earth as each chapter in each time zone lit candles. About 75 names were called and candles lit in memory during the ceremony at the senior center. |
